Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actress. Most well-known is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You as well as in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in film and television. She rose to fame with the roles she portrayed in the drama series Rectify. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera set in Gulf Breeze Florida. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Best Female Newcomer. In the following years, she mainly played roles as guest stars on a variety of TV programs. She earned appreciation for her character of Doctor. Erin Jameson in the drama series Hawthorne. Her gorgeous looks and stunning appearance, along with her uncanny acting talent contributed to the gradual development of an audience. At the age twenty she made her first appearance in the film Campfire Stones. The other films she's appeared in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. For her role on Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. The main character in Timeless is Lucy Preston, history professor. Spencer was praised from critics for her role in the sci-fi TV program Timeless. Spencer has also been nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
