Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix was a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and found her passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200m. In 2007, she defended the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell.
